This latest version of the guide includes information about Acute Kidney Injury \u2013 a definition, causes and risk factors, how to prevent AKI, the classification of stages and how to respond. The AKI information also includes links to the Think Kidneys website and NICE guidance.<\/p>\n<p>Karen Thomas, Head of Programmes for Think Kidneys<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m really delighted to have been involved in the development of the pocket guide for nurses on behalf of the Think Kidneys AKI programme. We worked with the Royal College of Nursing on the content and we are very keen to ensure junior nurses know about AK.
