We are delighted to announce the launch of the PatientView<\/a> mobile application on the Apple and Google App Stores. This app provides a quick and convenient way for renal patients to access their own healthcare records from a smartphone or tablet.<\/p>\n

The initial version includes the most commonly-used features of the PatientView website, and will be followed by regular feature updates and upgrades as the app evolves.<\/p>\n

  1. To install:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    If you are using an Apple device click here:\u00a0https:\/\/tinyurl.com\/pvmobile-ios<\/a><\/p>\n

    For Android devices click here:\u00a0https:\/\/tinyurl.com\/pvmobile-android<\/a><\/p>\n

    1. Follow on-screen instructions to download the app and install it on your device.<\/li>\n
    2. Once your app is installed and opened, enter your usual PatientView username and password. Tap the checkbox to consent to the download of your records, then tap the Login button.<\/li>\n
    3. You will be asked to enter 3 random letters of your secret word. If you don’t have a secret word yet, you will be prompted to create one as this is mandatory for app security purposes.<\/li>\n
    4. The dashboard screen is then displayed, from which you can explore all of the app’s functions.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      The Think Kidney\u2019s team hopes this app will enable and encourage wider use of PatientView<\/a> amongst the renal community, and that patients are able to use it quickly and easily to gain access to information relating to their own health and care.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
