For more information, please visit <a href=\"https:\/\/ukkidney.org\/kquip\/homepage\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">KQIP&#8217;s homepage<\/a> under the UK Kidney Association.<\/p>\n    <p>We thank you for your understanding and invite you to explore these recommended resources for up-to-date insights and guidance in kidney care and health.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>A driver diagram is a powerful tool that helps to translate a high level improvement goal into a logical set of underpinning goals and projects &#8211; &#8216;A project on a page&#8217;. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Units have been tasked to back to their units and produce a driver diagram in preparation for sharing during Training Day 3<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For training day 2, we asked the teams to produce an aim statement<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thinkkidneys.nhs.uk\/kquip\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2019\/08\/Bradford.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-6226\" width=\"175\" height=\"131\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">MAGIC project team from Bradford<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>An aim statement is a clear explicit summary of what the team hopes to achieve over a specific time. It should be specific, measurable, assignable, relevant, time based &#8211; SMART<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Bradford &#8211; Reduce area puncture by Feb 2020 by 50% <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Doncaster &#8211;  Reduce loss of native access by 20% by Dec 2021 <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Leeds &#8211; 65% haemodialysis patients with fistula\/ graft use rope ladder technique by 1<sup>st<\/sup> July 2020<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>York &#8211; To improve patient experience of cannulation by 25% over the next three months (November 2019)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Archived Content Notice You are currently accessing the Think Kidneys website.
