The <a href=\"http:\/\/theedge.nhsiq.nhs.uk\/about\/horizons-team\/\">Horizons team<\/a> is offering a virtual learning opportunity for people leading and\/or supporting change in health and care called the School for Change Agents.<\/p>\n<p>The School for Change Agents is free of charge and open to anyone who is passionate about improving health and care and it offers virtual learning sessions each week for five weeks, starting on 16th February.<\/p>\n<p>The school curriculum has been externally evaluated by the Chartered Institute for Personal Development and has been shown to deliver significant impact for both individuals and their organisations in terms of:-<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Knowledge and skills in leading change<\/li>\n<li>Building a sense of purpose and motivation to improve practice<\/li>\n<li>Ability to challenge the status quo and rock the boat without falling out<\/li>\n<li>Connecting with others to build support for change<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The course has been co-produced with people who have registered for the school, making it truly focused on the needs of health and care staff and patient leaders and the challenges they face.<\/p>\n<p>The Horizons team have applied for CPD points for doctors and other clinicians completing the school and are also incorporating opportunities for nurses to use the school experience as part of their CPD reflective accounts for revalidation. In addition there will also be an opportunity for people to become \u201ccertificated change agents\u201d by taking part in all the school sessions (either in real time or by watching the recordings) and undertaking follow up work to demonstrate that they have applied the principles.<\/p>\n<p>If you\u2019d like to find out more about the school and how it works please visit their website <a href=\"http:\/\/theedge.nhsiq.nhs.uk\/school\/\">here.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>These are the dates for the school live sessions.
