Quality improvement (QI) leads

Each unit has been asked to identify a minimum of one medical and one multi-professional lead. They are the ones who will lead the project in their unit. They should commit to a local meeting monthly to support implementation of their chosen project.

QI lead roles:

  • Lead the project locally utilising the multi professional team and patients to deliver agreed objectives
  • Collect data, on the defined objectives of the chosen projects and any regionally agreed data
  • Implement any educational  and awareness materials at the set time points in the project
  • Actively participate in discussions through attendance at KQuIP regional activities, webinars / calls. This will include regional study days and regular network webinars / calls.
