We are grateful to our colleagues at the University of Hertfordshire who have worked hard to analyse the patient responses and prepare this report.

With a total of 11,027 patients who took part, representing 56 adult renal centres in England and Wales, the response to the annual PREM continued in its second year to exceed expectations and provide a strong voice for patients to share what is important to them and how they experience the care they receive. Thank you to everyone who took part.

We are keen to hear of improvement work resulting from PREM, and to work with you to produce a case study of your resulting work for the websites. Do get in touch with Catherine on catherine.stannard@renalregistry.nhs.uk if you would like to share your story.

We will shortly be writing to renal units regarding the PREM 2018 survey which will be implemented in June of this year.
