The AKI National Nurses Event will be an opportunity for all AKI Specialist nurses and professionals to come together to showcase their trust and gain ideas and support for future developments within AKI.
Everyone has the opportunity to present their developments & improved services in the morning. If you would like to present an innovation/ change or achievement from within your trust please submit your presentation to aki@sthk.nhs.uk by August 1st 2017 in preparation for the creation of the final agenda. The presentation should be no more than 10 minutes in time to ensure everyone has equal opportunity to showcase themselves and their trust.
Additionally in the morning, guest speakers Richard Fluck will kindly present at the event. There will also be speakers from Siemans with new technology to improve urine testing.
Lunch will be provided at no added cost. Should you have any allergies or dietary requirements please ensure we are aware in advance.
After lunch, everyone will have the opportunity to network. There will be a set of four-six topics in relation to AKI (derived from a survey-to be sent at a later date) whereby open discussions will take place. This will be an opportunity for the AKI nurses to exchange ideas and solutions to everyday challenges.
