The new CQUIN guidance published at the end of February by NHS England sets out new national goals for information requirements for discharge from acute settings for patients who have suffered AKI.
Summaries should include
- Stage of AKI
- Evidence of medicines review having been undertaken
- Type of blood tests required on discharge for monitoring
- Frequency of blood tests required on discharge for monitoring.
