Graham White

Graham served in the Royal Air Force for 20 years which included close liaison with the Renal Unit at RAF Halton, developing an interest in renal aspects of laboratory medicine before a brief spell in the IT industry and then moved into the NHS.  He currently works in the Biochemistry Department at Hampshire Hospitals NHS Trust. Graham holds degrees in Applied Biology, Biochemistry, Clinical Biochemistry and Law and completed a doctorate in implementation of AKI alerts in a district general hospital and the impact on patient outcomes. He has sat on the Wessex AKI committee and chaired the alert sub-committee before being asked to join the Think Kidneys AKI programme measurement workstream.

Away from work, Graham is a very average but keen golfer but did manage to win a national seniors title in 2010. He is a keen listener to rock music of a bygone age and sometime bass guitarist in the rock covers band. He has known some highs and many lows as a follower of Portsmouth Football Club. Graham is married to Sally (a much better golfer) and provider of treats to his dog (AJ).
