The foundations of Kathryn’s educational background are rooted in her Bachelor of Medical Science degree, achieved at Nottingham University in 1978. Shortly after Kathryn became a member of The Royal College of Physicians, as well as The Royal College of General Practitioners. Kathryn’s field of expertise in management of cardiovascular disease in primary care has been shaped through her extensive knowledge in cardiology gained through her Postgraduate studies as Bradford University. In her spare time Kathryn likes to cycle in the countryside, and enjoys the more indulgent activities of drinking wine and eating good food as the winter nights drawn in.
