Robert Hill

Robert is a consultant biochemist (recently retired, though we find that hard to believe) who trained initially at Newcastle and Leeds and completed his PhD at Nottingham Trent University. His role with Think Kidneys is Chair of the Detection Workstream.

Robert’s special interests are in adding value to clinical biochemistry reports; biochemical markers of glycation in diabetes; Evidence based Clinical Chemistry; Analytical verification in Clinical Biochemistry Labs and bringing novel biochemical markers into routine clinical practice.

Robert has an interest in South America and if he could have dinner with anyone it would be Gabriel Garcia Marquez who could talk him through the history of Colombia and South America and make sense of what Robert describes as “is an almost impenetrable story”. Good luck with that one, Robert.
